TRIESTE – Oxin, part of the Talenta division of the Somec Group, has secured two contracts worth a total of €33.7 million. The contracts awarded to the Veneto-based company involve the construction of three ships — one of which is optional — for Crystal Cruises. Specifically, the company will be responsible for the design and outfitting of kitchens, catering areas, and bars on board the new Crystal ships being built at Fincantieri shipyards, delivering a turnkey package that includes all project phases, reflecting Made in Italy excellence: design, production, installation, and after-sales service for the outfitted areas. The financial impact of these orders will be distributed over the period from 2026 to 2031. «Once again, the shipbuilding industry – commented Oscar Marchetto, Chairman of the Somec Group,  – has chosen our Group’s solutions to meet the needs of the luxury cruise segment. Through Oxin and the Talenta division, we are committed to delivering state-of-the-art kitchens, designed to meet the highest standards of efficiency, design, and performance».
