Major project cargo from Baltimora reaches Trieste Port
TRIESTE – More then eleven thousand cubic metres of project cargo with 200 containers and 100 tons parts for Siderurgy industrial purposes, docked yesterday in Servola. The ship, Spaarne-gracht was carrying the first part of the cargo from Cold Rolling Mill acquired in the USA by Siderurgica Triestina, from Gruppo Arvedi.
The ship came from Sparrows Point near Baltimore, where the second part of the cargo has already departed onboard “Happy Dynamic” and is expected to arrive in Trieste around May 28th.
Logistics were handled in the USA, by Multi Marine Services (MMS), allowing for one of the largest shipments from the U.S coastline and the Port of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
