TRIESTE – The Global Sales Convention of the Rhenus Group, one of the world’s leading logistics providers with an annual turnover of €7.5 billion, is taking place in Buttrio, in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region. Until tomorrow, thirty top-level commercial executives are gathered to discuss strategies, technologies, and future visions for the industry. Discussions are focusing on the evolution of markets and the need to adapt logistics solutions to rapidly changing scenarios. Key topics include global trend analysis, the adoption of cutting-edge digital tools, and the development of tailor-made services for clients. The event also features the participation of two long-standing partner companies of the group: Danieli & C. Officine Meccaniche SpA and Taghleef Industries SpA. Their involvement will enrich the dialogue on industry challenges, fostering direct exchange between logistics service providers and their customers.
«Ongoing dialogue and improvement by feedback with our partners are essential to developing innovative solutions and continuously enhancing the services we offer» explains Rhenus. Emanuele Orso, Global Chief Commercial Officer of the Air & Ocean Division of the group, emphasizes the symbolic importance of the event’s location: «We are thrilled to host this convention in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a region that holds special meaning for us. Our presence here was strengthened by the acquisition of Cesped in 2018, a local logistics and transport company founded in Udine. Rhenus has maintained a strong presence in the area through the Lauzacco site, which has historically been Cesped’s headquarters. Personally, I feel a deep connection to this land, having been born in Palmanova and having started my career at Cesped. Although my job takes me all over the world, my heart belongs to this region, where I hope to continue living. This event is a unique opportunity to share experiences and strategies that will enable us to keep growing and innovating in the logistics sector».
