With these words, spoken from Japan where he is on a mission for Expo Osaka, Massimiliano Fedriga, president of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, announced his forthcoming approval of the agreement to appoint Antonio Gurrieri as the new president of the Eastern Adriatic Sea Port System Authority (ports of Trieste and Monfalcone).
“The Region is preparing to express its agreement on the formal proposal, received this morning and signed by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, for the appointment of Dr. Antonio Gurrieri as president of the Eastern Adriatic Sea Port System Authority,” Fedriga added in an official statement.
At this point, the parliamentary procedure involving the competent committees is expected to become a mere formality before the official appointment.
