TRIESTE - Il terminal container del Porto di Trieste registra un +10,5% nel mese di febbraio 2016 rispetto allo stesso mese dello scorso anno. Trieste Marine Terminal, inoltre, cresce anche nelle movimentazioni dei contenitori su rotaia.

TRIESTE - Trieste Marine Terminal container volumes in February 2016 record +10.5% compared to February 2015. Trieste Marine Terminal also shows a growth of the full containers and cargo moved by rail.

TRIESTE - The total containers volumes moved by rail at Molo VII (Trieste's Port container terminal) in January 2016 have increased by 6% compared to the same month 2015.

TRIESTE - Trieste Marine Terminal is showing a 19.1 % growth increase in railroad transport volumes for exchange traffic to Eastern and Southern Europe, compared to 2014. The containers directed towards Germany, Austria and Hungary have increased significantly, confirming Trieste’s  importance for railroad flow.

TRIESTE - Beginning November 16th, the unique railroad freeway connecting the short distance from Molo V’s Ro-Ro services, to the Intermodal Terminal of Trieste Fernetti, will be viable. The relevant Authority, Region FVG and representatives of customs, Intermodal Terminal of Trieste, Samer Shipping, Alpe Adria and Trenitalia, underlined at the presentation of the project how important this apparently simple operation really is, with great strategic value.

Zeno D’Agostino, the Commissioner of the Port Authority, said: “the vocation of Trieste is to serve Bavaria, all our efforts are at this time focused on train connections. This is our key message for potential partners and investors at the Transport Logistic Fair in Monaco”.
