TRIESTE - The Interministries Committee for Economic Programming(CIPE) has deliberated today the allocation of 22 million euros for the Campo Marzio Station which operates at the service of the Port of Trieste. The sum has been added to the already available 28 million euros for the RFI, (Rete Ferroviaria Italiana).

TRIESTE - Un nuovo collegamento ferroviario tra il porto di Trieste e il Sud della Germania è attivo da questi giorni: collega il Molo VII gestito da Trieste Marine Terminal con Burghausen (KTB terminal), in Baviera.

TRIESTE - A new train connection linking the Port of Trieste and southern Germany, has bee active for the past few days. The link is between  Pier VII, managed by Trieste Marine Terminal and Burghausen (KTB terminal), in Bavaria.

TRIESTE - Institutional meetings, evaluation of new markets and the hypotheses of developing the rail connections in the North Adriatic area, are part of the marketing plan of the Port Authority of Trieste. These matters were discussed by the Port Authority together with representatives of the Port of Monfalcone at the 20th edition of “TransRussia”, an international exhibition for transport and logistics that was held in Moscow from April 21st to April 24th.

TRIESTE - The Cipe (Interministerial Committee for Economic Planning) will soon receive the request for co-financing the plan concerning the strengthening of the port of call of Campo Marzio, an infrastructure at the service of the Port of Trieste.

TRIESTE – Starting February 18th, a new rail service will provide a link between the container terminal of Molo VII (Pier VII) in Trieste and Bologna’s interporto.

TRIESTE -The delivery of the expressions of interest concerning Adriafer srl, company owned by the Port Authority of Trieste and responsible for railway handlings within the port, will expire on 2nd February 2015. In the last few days, Debora Serracchiani, President of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region, underlined that “the transfer of Adriafer’s shares must aim at reducing the costs for train shunting within the port of Trieste and, at the same time, at unifying the train shunting in order to improve the competitiveness of the Port”.
