TRIESTE - The Interministries Committee for Economic Programming(CIPE) has deliberated today the allocation of 22 million euros for the Campo Marzio Station which operates at the service of the Port of Trieste. The sum has been added to the already available 28 million euros for the RFI, (Rete Ferroviaria Italiana).

MONFALCONE - In the first half of 2016 the Port of Monfalcone has observed a 10,67% increase in the traffic of metallurgical products.

TRIESTE - Uncertain market situation and changing scenarios in the Shipping Lines Alliances did not affect Trieste Marine Terminal’s total volumes handled during the first semester 2016.

TRIESTE - A 20% growth in container traffic during the month of July has was show in comparison to last year, for the Port of Trieste. A total of 54.175 Teu of which 47.004 were moved by Trieste marine terminal at Pier VII, show an increase over 2014, of 10,13%.

TRIESTE - The Port of Trieste will become leader of the system authority, and assume control of all stops in Friuli Venezia Giulia according to the new version of the “National Strategic Plan for port logistics.”

TRIESTE - The regional assembly of Friuli Venezia Giulia has destined 500 thousand euros to the Port Authority of Trieste for the promotion of intermodal transport from and to the port of call.
The region is engaged in sustaining the port activity with particular attention to the promotion of combined transport services, destined to consolidate commercial traffic with marine vectors that dock at the Port of Trieste.

TRIESTE – A new train from Trieste to Budapest together with new connections with southern Germany and study for further connections with Poland. These are some of the most important news for the Port of Trieste and themes that emerged at the Transport Logistic of Monaco.  
Zeno D’Agostino, the Commissioner of the Port Authority, said: “the vocation of Trieste is to serve Bavaria, all our efforts are at this time focused on train connections. This is our key message for potential partners and investors at the Transport Logistic Fair in Monaco”.

TRIESTE - Institutional meetings, evaluation of new markets and the hypotheses of developing the rail connections in the North Adriatic area, are part of the marketing plan of the Port Authority of Trieste. These matters were discussed by the Port Authority together with representatives of the Port of Monfalcone at the 20th edition of “TransRussia”, an international exhibition for transport and logistics that was held in Moscow from April 21st to April 24th.

TRIESTE - During a meeting in Koper, Slovenia, yesterday the representatives of Napa (North Adriatic Ports Association) asked EU to support the development of the infrastructure plans of each port and their logistical interlinking systems to the network of the European corridors. Above all, they underlined the need to strengthen the role of the ports in Southern Europe (the North Adriatic Sea, the Mediterranean Sea and the Black Sea), so that it will be possible to balance the maritime traffic which is now concentrated above all in the Northern European ports.

TRIESTE - A delegation of Turkish investors composed of the leaders of UN Ro-Ro, Esas and Acteragroup, accompanied by the terminal operator Enrico Samer, has been welcomed today by the President of the Port Authority of Trieste, Marina Monassi, and other managers of the same Authority.
