Port Authority system of the northern Adriatic

TRIESTE - 2017: Trieste leading Italian port for total cargo (+4.58% in tons), for train traffic with 8,681 trains (+13.76%) and first oil port of the Mediterranean. For the third year in a row the seaport of Trieste achieves a peak performance.

TRIESTE – The new semester of rotating presidency of the NAPA (North Adriatic Ports Association) was inaugurated a few days ago in Ravenna by Zeno D’Agostino, head of the Port Network Authority of Trieste.

TRIESTE – “Hungary is becoming Trieste’s first reference market, as for its Port’s railway container traffic”, stated in Budapest Zeno D’Agostino – President of the Port Authority of the Eastern Adriatic Sea – highlighting the importance of the two-day presentations of the Port of Trieste within the Hungarian capital.

TRIESTE - The Port Authority for the Northern Adriatic and the Shizuoka Port Authority have signed a collaboration protocol agreement for the ports of Trieste and Shimizu.

TRIESTE - The first six months of 2017 have shown a 0,91% increase in total goods displaced for the Port of Trieste, setting a new growth record in the railroad department with a 16,90% increase.

TRIESTE - Trieste Port Authority has approved the 2017-2019 Operational Plan. Innovation, intermodality, infrastructure, industry, logistic integration, internationalization and IT will be the lines of development that will benefit from more than a billion Euros in public and private investments in the long term, as well as from 280 million Euros in the short and medium term.

TRIESTE - A total budget of 80 million euro and 15 million of co-financing are the resources available to the Port Authority system of the northern Adriatic for European planning and development.
