MONFALCONE - Today was first day at work for the new crane recently acquired by CPM. The Liebherr LHM 550 with a 150 Ton max. capacity and a 54 meter reach, is capable of 120 meters per minute lift speed.

MONFALCONE - Green light to the Port of Monfalcone for the new industrial plan estimating an increase in traffic, not only in the traditional sectors of steel and forest products, but also by means of a resolute diversification of logistics and merchandise.

TRIESTE- The upgrading phase of the second crane of Trieste’s container terminal has been carried out in the past few days. Now the cranes are able to operate the new generation vessels up to 16.000 teus, confirming Trieste as one of the top terminal in the Adriatic able to handle such kind of big ships.

MONFALCONE- A 162 tons industrial machinery and two maritime cases, containing respectively a 18 and a 6 tons machinery, have been discharged this morning at Port of Monfalcone by Compagnia Portuale of Monfalcone (CPM).

TRIESTE - After the completion of the upgrading of two STS-cranes in 2014 , this week work started at Trieste’s Molo VII terminal for the upgrading of additional three cranes.The total costs of around 12 million euros will make cranes capable of working on ships with 21 rows of containers on deck (so on vessels up to 16000 teu capacity).

TRIESTE - A new crane is already operational after an upgrading programme and another one is being completed. Molo VII (Pier VII) will be thus able to handle adequately the 10,000 teu ships arriving at the Port of Trieste in the next months.
