TRIESTE - The Ocean Three alliance (China Cosco, CMA CGM, Evergreen and UASC) have decided to optimize the rotation of the service, which connects the Far East to the Adriatic.

TRIESTE - Arkas Line and Tarros announce the call of Trieste has been added to their existing Adriatic Service. With one more vessel deployed on the rotation, Trieste will be the first port of call of the upgraded service, allowing a very competitive transit time especially from Turkey, Egypt and Libya.

TRIESTE – The Port of Trieste results as one of the strategic infrastructures of European interest, with experimentation of potential in the financial sector. This information being written by the coordinators of the European corridors, specifically for the use of new financing methods for the infrastructures.

TRIESTE – More then eleven thousand cubic metres of project cargo with 200 containers and 100 tons parts for Siderurgy industrial purposes, docked yesterday in Servola. The ship, Spaarne-gracht was carrying the first part of the cargo from Cold Rolling Mill acquired in the USA by Siderurgica Triestina, from Gruppo Arvedi.  
The ship came from Sparrows Point near Baltimore, where the second part of the cargo has already departed onboard “Happy Dynamic” and is expected to arrive in Trieste around May 28th.

TRIESTE – A new train from Trieste to Budapest together with new connections with southern Germany and study for further connections with Poland. These are some of the most important news for the Port of Trieste and themes that emerged at the Transport Logistic of Monaco.  
Zeno D’Agostino, the Commissioner of the Port Authority, said: “the vocation of Trieste is to serve Bavaria, all our efforts are at this time focused on train connections. This is our key message for potential partners and investors at the Transport Logistic Fair in Monaco”.

TRIESTE - Institutional meetings, evaluation of new markets and the hypotheses of developing the rail connections in the North Adriatic area, are part of the marketing plan of the Port Authority of Trieste. These matters were discussed by the Port Authority together with representatives of the Port of Monfalcone at the 20th edition of “TransRussia”, an international exhibition for transport and logistics that was held in Moscow from April 21st to April 24th.

TRIESTE - During a meeting in Koper, Slovenia, yesterday the representatives of Napa (North Adriatic Ports Association) asked EU to support the development of the infrastructure plans of each port and their logistical interlinking systems to the network of the European corridors. Above all, they underlined the need to strengthen the role of the ports in Southern Europe (the North Adriatic Sea, the Mediterranean Sea and the Black Sea), so that it will be possible to balance the maritime traffic which is now concentrated above all in the Northern European ports.

TRIESTE - E' stata riposizionata in banchina, stamattina al Molo VII con un'operazione durata poco più di un paio d'ore, la seconda delle due gru – reduce da un completo refitting – capace di operare su navi da 20 file di container in larghezza e 7 file in altezza in coperta. Il terminal è ora lo scalo più attrezzato dell'Adriatico per il traffico di contenitori.

TRIESTE - The second of the two cranes – which had undergone complete revamping – was repositioned to the quay of Molo VII (pier VII) this morning, after little more than two hours’ work.

TRIESTE - The Port Authority of Trieste, thanks to the European project ITS Multi-Purpose Gateway, has now been equipped with a Port Community System. The initial aim was to create a software platform allowing data exchange among the ports of the North Adriatic Sea.
