Trieste Marine Terminal event for the Hungarian market

TRIESTE - In the past few days a delegation of Hungarian freight forwarders and representatives of the Shipping Lines visited Molo VII of the Port of Trieste, in occasion of an event organized by Trieste Marine Terminal.

The aim was to strengthen the cooperation started last year with the Hungarian market and also to celebrate the launch of the third weekly  rail connection of the Budapest service.
The Port tour started at the Port Autority of Trieste where the Secretary-General, Mr. Mario Sommariva, gave to the guests an overview of the Port of Trieste including the short and long-term development plans. After that, the delegation visited Molo VII having the chance to see amongst other things the vessel still under operations, the rail infrastructure and the in progress upgrading of one crane. At the end of the business part of the visit the guests had the chance to spend a nice time in a relaxing atmosphere at Portopiccolo while on next morning they participated to the see sight tour of Trieste.
