TRIESTE - ANAS (Gruppo FS Italiane) will install 24 video cameras for license plate identification, 33 surveillance cameras, and over 27 kilometers of optic fiber cables for controlling heavy goods vehicle traffic between the Port of Trieste and the freight terminal, without causing queues and streamlining loading times.

TRIESTE - Growth in the Port of Trieste is not stopping: in 2013 TMT handled 458,497 teus (new record), corresponding to a 11,49% increase, especially thanks to export and transhipment traffic, while import traffic remains almost unchanged.
Containers moved via rail grew by 10% and represent today more than 30% of the total traffic of the terminal. For this reason TMT thanked its customers and operators for the confidence shown to the company and confirmed its efforts to continuously improve the structures and intermodal services.
