TRIESTE - The Friuli Venezia Giulia Regional Council allocated around 300,000 euros in order to implement the rail intermodal services from and to the Port of Trieste for the Central European markets.

TRIESTE - The Port Authority of Trieste approved 11,615,093 euros of surplus on the 2013 budget to invest in infrastructure in order to improve the port. A budget surplus of 11,615,093 euros in 2013 and 20 million euros investments from its own funds for harbour works which are essential to develop traffic.
